I’m Javed Khan from Motorcycle Escape, and I am thrilled to share the incredible story of our recent journey from India to the UK to participate in the renowned Kickback Custom Classic Bike Show. This adventure was more than just a showcase of our motorbike adventures; it was a celebration of our shared passion for riding and the friendships we’ve forged along the way.
The Adventure Begins in India
Our story starts in the bustling streets of Delhi, where Motorcycle Escape began preparations for the long journey ahead. As a team that sells motorcycle tours in India, we were excited to take our passion for bikes & travel on an international adventure.
Crossing Continents
Flying with Etihad, it was an early start. We left from Indira Gandhi International Airport with excitement, ready to reach Abu Dhabi, and then onto the UK. I had my documents, UK tourist visa and travel plans all in my hands, as I set off on my adventure.
Arrival in the UK
After around 15 hours in transit, I finally arrived in the UK, eager to participate in the Kickback Custom Classic Bike Show. The UK’s scenic countryside and winding roads were a perfect prelude to the festival. Upon reaching the venue, we were greeted by a vibrant community of motorcycle enthusiasts, all eager to showcase their motorcycle enterprises.
Showcasing Our Royal Enfield Adventures
At the Kickback Custom Classic Bike Show, our Royal Enfield Adventures drew significant attention. We had a Bullet 500 on display, and photos, videos and leaflets delving into the details of our local-led experiences. Seeing our tours admired by fellow enthusiasts was a proud moment for us.
Reunion with Old Friends
One of the highlights of the event was bumping into old clients who had joined us on previous Himalayan tours. It was heartwarming to see familiar faces and hear their fond memories of exploring India by bike. They recounted tales of challenging mountain roads, serene valleys, and the unique experiences they had while riding through the Himalayas.
These reunions underscored the lasting impact of our tours. Hearing our former clients talk about their adventures and how those experiences had stayed with them was incredibly rewarding. It was a reminder of why we do what we do – to create unforgettable memories and foster a deep love for motorcycle travel.
Sharing Stories and Building Community
