Cancellation Policy
Please read this Cancellation Policy carefully before confirming your booking with Motorcycle Escape.
By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted the terms outlined below.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Non-Refundable Booking Advance
A non-refundable advance payment is required to secure a client’s place on the tour.
The booking will be considered confirmed only after Motorcycle Escape has received the required advance payment. The advance payment is non-refundable under all circumstances.
2. Cancellation More Than 60 Days Before the Tour
All cancellation requests must be submitted to Motorcycle Escape in writing.
If a cancellation request is received more than 60 days before the scheduled tour start date, the client will be eligible for a refund of 25% of the amount paid, excluding the non-refundable advance payment.
The advance payment will not be included while calculating the refundable amount and will not be refunded under any circumstances.
3. Cancellation 60 Days or Less Before the Tour
If a cancellation request is received 60 days or less before the scheduled tour start date, no refund will be provided.
The non-refundable advance payment and all other payments made towards the tour will be retained by Motorcycle Escape.
4. Transfer of Booking
Instead of cancelling, a client may request to transfer their booking to another eligible participant.
All booking transfers are subject to prior written approval from Motorcycle Escape. The replacement participant must fulfil all applicable tour requirements, including:
- A valid motorcycle licence and suitable riding experience
- Comprehensive travel and health insurance
- Required health and fitness standards
- A valid passport, visa and other travel documents
- Any additional requirements applicable to the selected tour
Motorcycle Escape reserves the right to reject a replacement participant who does not meet the required eligibility or safety standards.
5. No-Show, Late Arrival or Early Departure
No refund or credit will be issued if a client:
- Fails to arrive at the confirmed tour starting point
- Arrives too late to join the tour
- Leaves the tour before its completion
- Chooses not to participate in any part of the itinerary
- Is unable to participate due to incomplete licences, visas, insurance or travel documents
No refund or credit will be provided for unused accommodation, transportation, motorcycle rental, meals, activities or any other services included in the tour package.
6. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Motorcycle Escape
Motorcycle Escape reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule or modify a tour due to safety concerns, weather conditions, road closures, government restrictions, operational requirements, unforeseen circumstances or events beyond its reasonable control.
If a tour is cancelled or postponed by Motorcycle Escape, the tour may be rescheduled to a suitable earlier or later date.
All eligible payments received for the original booking will be carried forward and adjusted against the rescheduled tour. The revised date will be communicated to the client, and the booking will remain valid for the new tour date.
A cancellation or rescheduling by Motorcycle Escape will not automatically qualify the client for a cash refund.
7. Changes to the Tour Itinerary
Motorcycle Escape may make reasonable changes to the tour route, schedule, accommodation, activities, motorcycles or other arrangements when required for safety, operational or logistical reasons.
Such changes will not be considered a cancellation and will not entitle the client to a refund.
8. Refund Processing
Any approved refund will be processed within a reasonable period after the cancellation request has been reviewed and confirmed.
The refundable amount may be subject to deductions for:
- Payment gateway charges
- Bank processing fees
- Currency conversion charges
- International transaction fees
- Other applicable transaction costs
Wherever possible, refunds will be issued through the original payment method.
9. Travel Insurance
Clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Trip cancellation or interruption
- Medical emergencies
- Motorcycle-related activities
- Travel delays or disruption
- Emergency evacuation and repatriation
- Personal accident or injury
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
Motorcycle Escape will not be responsible for any loss or expense that could have been covered through suitable travel insurance.
10. Client Acknowledgement
It is the client’s responsibility to read, understand and accept this Cancellation and Refund Policy before confirming a booking.
By paying the non-refundable advance or confirming a tour with Motorcycle Escape, the client acknowledges and accepts all cancellation, transfer, rescheduling and refund conditions stated in this policy.
