Kerala, popular with honeymooners for its luxury and beauty, is our favourite state in India for smooth & scenic rides. We still enjoy the eccentricities of India, with some short stretches through town centres between long open roads in the mountains, forests and along the coast. We advise this tour for all seekers of the wonders of India without the over-stimulation of some of the Northern regions. A true tropical paradise.

Arrive in Morning –Fort Kochi

  • Arrive at Cochin International Airport
  • Transfer to your hotel in Fort Kochi, a heritage coastal town.
  • Explore Chinese fishing nets, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, and Jew Town.
  • Enjoy dinner at a seaside café and relax after your journey.

Fort Kochi to Athirappilly

  • Ride out towards the Athirappilly Waterfalls, Kerala’s most famous and tallest cascade.
  • Visit Vazhachal Falls nearby and take in the lush forested scenery.
  • Optional short jungle walk or visit to a tribal village.
  • Overnight stay in a riverside eco-resort near the falls.

Athirappilly to Silent Valley National Park

  • Depart early for the ride through forests and tea plantations toward Silent Valley in Palakkad district.

  • Full-day jungle adventure with a guided safari or trek inside Silent Valley, a pristine rainforest rich in rare wildlife and plants.

Silent Valley to Wayanad

  • Ride through scenic ghats and coffee estates to reach Wayanad, known for its misty mountains and tribal culture.
  • En route, stop at viewpoints or waterfalls.

Wayanad to Ooty

  • Depart for Ooty, crossing into Tamil Nadu via forest routes.
  • Scenic ride through Bandipur and Mudumalai Tiger Reserves (watch for wildlife).
  • Arrive in Ooty, the Queen of the Nilgiris.
  • Optional evening walk around Ooty Lake or shopping at the local market.

  • Visit Doddabetta Peak, Botanical Gardens, and the Rose Garden.
  • Ride or take the toy train to Coonoor (optional).
  • Explore tea plantations, Sim’s Park, or Dolphin’s Nose viewpoint.
  • Relax in a heritage hotel or Chai estate bungalow.

Ooty to Valparai

  • An epic riding day through winding ghats, forest reserves, and tea valleys.
  • Pass through Coimbatore or Pollachi to reach the rain-soaked heights of Valparai.

Motorcycle Tour Inclusions:

Immerse yourself in a thrilling adventure with our motorcycle tour. Your experience includes:

  • Contemporary Motorcycles: we can arrange the best Royal Enfield bikes, meticulously maintained. The Himalayan 450cc or 411cc options.
  • All accommodation: a combination 
  • All accommodation (private room per customer) in boutique hotels, eco-lodges, heritage stays, and scenic hill-station resorts. We allow for a private room per customer unless you request to share together.
  • Fuel: Unlike most other tour companies, fuel costs for the motorcycles are included in the tour package and will be covered for the mileage of our tour itinerary. The motorcycles must only be used in accordance with the tour itinerary.
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in our price. Our lead agent will guide you to local restaurants and help you order the best local foods of the region. Only soft drinks, water, tea and coffee are included for in beverages. Alcohol would need to be purchased separately. 
Motorcycle Tour Exclusions:
  • Personal Travel Insurance: Travel insurance, including health and motorcycle coverage, is not included. Clients are responsible for securing comprehensive insurance for the duration of the tour.
  • As mentioned above, alcohol is not included in our price but can be purchased separately. We advise you drink responsibly during your tour.
  • Flights: Airfare to and from the tour starting point is not included in the package. Internal airfare inside India is not included in the package. 
  • Personal Expenses: Any personal expenses, including but not limited to souvenirs, additional activities, or optional excursions, are not part of the tour package.
  • Motorcycle Gear: Personal riding gear, such as helmets, jackets, gloves, and boots, is not provided. Participants are required to bring their own suitable gear.

Riding Gear:

  • Helmet: Ensure it meets safety standards and is comfortable for long rides.
  • Riding Jacket: Ideally a lightweight jacket as the weather can be hot and humid
  • Riding Pants: as above.
  • Riding Boots: Sturdy and comfortable.
  • Riding gloves
  • Buff/face scarf to cover from dust as needed
  • Waterproof shell jacket if gear not waterproof. We can get short monsoon-like rains.
  • Some bungees to strap your small day bag to your bike (we will have some spares).

Essentials:

  • Documents: International driving license, Passport/ID, travel insurance & EVisa if needed
  • Money: Sufficient cash and cards; ATMs can be scarce in remote areas. We can also help you find cash withdrawals en route as needed.
  • Personal Medical Kit: Bandages, pain relievers, etc.
  • Mosquito repellant.

Personal Items:

  • Toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, etc.
  • Suncrean and Lip Balm: High SPF for protection against strong sun.
  • Sunglasses: UV-protected and suitable for riding.

Electronics:

  • Power Bank: Keep your devices charged, especially if camping.
  • Adapters/Chargers: Ensure compatibility with local power outlets.

Miscellaneous:

  • Backpack/Daypack: For day trips and carrying essentials.
  • Ear Plugs: For reducing wind noise during long rides.
  • Dry Bags: Protect important items from rain showers
  • Swimming costume: we will visit the coast and some hotels have pools.
